Installation Instructions
Ralph from CHICKASHA, OK
broken plastic start button on the control module.
I took the old one out and put the new one in. Sorry, I have some mechanical abilities but not much in giving detailed instructions on how I did it. I will say there are some little metal tabs that you have to bend back to get the old one out and then bend them back in place to hold the new part in. Like you find on some picture frames. The part came in just a few days after I ordered it.

White magic smoke came out of front.
I removed two screws at the rear top, slid the top back. Then removed the screws holding the front face on. The circut board had a few screws holding it on. I removed them and detachted the wires, then installed the new board. I then reassembled the front and the wires. I put it back together and plugged it in. Everything lit up and the dryer was fixed. HORRAY! My wife was happy again. Daddy saves the day, not to mention the repair cost.!

Timer did not work and the knob was broken too
The job was very easy, I just unscrewed the back of the unit (6 screws) and the two screws securing the timer in the front. I then disconnected the timer. All I had to do was reverse the process and I was done. It took less than 15 minutes.
