Why is my washer HLPW028AXW shutting off the electrical breaker when it gets to the spin cycle
For model number HLPW028AXW

When an RCD circuit breaker trips or a fuse blows when your appliance is in a spin this is usually caused by leakage to the ground or a short-circuit. I used electric tape to isolate and cover completely the exposed wires parts i joined. I then screwed everything back in place. I put the washer upright, connected the electrical cord and did a test. It is working great, and the water is draining well! It took me over 30 minutes, as the space under the machine, where the drain pump lodges, is quite tight and I needed a flash light.
Lifted up the washer from the bottom. Accessed the pump, unscrewed the motor and pulled off the rubber hose attached to the pump using a Phillips screwdriver and a wrench. Reattached the hose and the mounting screws. Worked just fine.
