The display of control panel is normal, first we set it to quick wash, then after pressing the start button, the machine started spinning and very loud noises came out, no water was filling, and then it kept spinning, then we pressed the power button, it showed cancelling cycle…but the machine won’t stop spinning. From factory diagnostics, we ran the Calibration Cycle, and the water was filling in, machine was spinning, and after a while, the machine stopped and control panel displayed “F7E1 contact service. How to fix this problem. Thank you

Hello Sophia, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the error code F7E1 indicates a motor speed sensing error, the motor can not achieve the correct speed for the cycle selection. The sensor does not come separately. It comes along with the shift actuator, part number PS16221077. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!

F2E2 CODE ON WASHER
For model number MVW6230HW2
PartSelect logo
Hi Arlene, thank you for reaching out. The F2E2 error indicates the main control board is not getting the correct signal from the user interface. Turn off the power, remove the screws holding the inner door liner, remove the liner, and check all wire connections from the front interface and main control board. If an error still comes, we recommend checking the user interface panel, part number PS16221057. We hope this solves your issue!

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

Tab on door strike got broken off and washer would not operate without it.
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
