Hello John, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our understanding, the issue is most probably with the temperature sensor, part number PS4240744. It measures the oven temperature. It also allows the oven to maintain the set temperature by sensing the temperature and sending the information to the control board. We would suggest replacing it to solve the problem. We hope this helps!

I replaced the upper heating element because it shorted out. I noticed that when i turn the oven on both circulating fans do not start. Can you troubleshoot some items that i may check? Thank you much, steve
For model number NE58F9500SS
Hello Steve, Thank you for your inquiry. The fans come on to cool the oven and circulate the air once the oven reaches a certain temperature. We would recommend checking the high limit thermostat, the fan motors and reverse fan motor, the temperature sensor and the wiring harness. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good luck with your repair.
When using the oven in either conventional or convection bake, the broiler will sometimes turn on and burn the food being baked.

Hi Lewis, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements PS4240824 and PS8764904 with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor PS4240744. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board.
Hi Scott, thank you for reaching out. This error code indicates the temperature in the microwave is too high. Pull the plug out of the socket and let the microwave cool down. Turn the microwave back on once it is completely cooled down. If it is not helping, we would recommend checking the temperature sensor, part number PS4240744, and thermostat, part number PS4226434, to fix the issue. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Thanks again for your great question.
I took off the back cover after I looked at youtube similar problems. Then removed the little thermostat and un hooked the 2 wires. I looked up the part and after is was delivered couple days later I connected the 2 wies and after putting the back cover on the oven was back to normal. Was such an easy repair and the part was only $11.
