Murray Snow Blower Seal The Oil Seal is used to seal the gear case where the axle extends from the case, around the axle shaft. It's rated as "Easy" to install, and will require a wrench set and seal puller. When installing, use something big enough to make contact with the entire seal, such as a PVC pipe, and tap gently into place. If broken, you will see oil leaking, and the part must be replaced.
