one of the three elements did not work properly
The most difficult part was to remove leads from the old switch. I had to use long nose pliers. One by one I connected it to the new switch to prevent the wrong connection.
After I removed the front cover, there was a lot of dirt, which I cleaned first and after replacing the switch and reinstalled the cover, I used the white DAP caulking to prevent the cumulation of any impurities inside. Now the range works like new again!

The triple burner turns on and off, but will not adjust temperature - i.e. if I turn any of the three sections to high and then try to turn it down to medium or low it will stay on high = therefore there is no simmer, just boil. Will this part solve the problem?

WB24X26408 infinite control switch for the 3 level/3 ring burner. How to test that switch to see if switch is good, or bad. That will let me know if it's the burner that's the problem, or not! Thanks, Mark
For model number JS750DF3BB

Hello Mark, thank you for contacting us. You can test the switch, part number PS11771843, using a multimeter for continuity. When the switch is in the off position there should be no continuity between terminals. When the switch is closed a continuous path will exist of terminal L1 with H1A and H1B. A continuous path between terminal L2 and H2 will also be checked same. You can also test the burner with a multimeter for continuity. We hope this helps.
